Job summary

CHAN & CHAN ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineering professional to support project teams on day-to-day management and site engineering matters.

You will prepare method statements, track monthly progress, and ensure work aligns with Quality & Safety Plans and contractual requirements. You will supervise site activities, interpret engineering drawings for field staff, and ensure environmental, health, and safety practices are upheld.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering is required.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills and organised work approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project team on day-to-day management, site technical/engineering matters and authority submissions.
• Prepare method statements, monthly progress claims measurement and reports.
• Ensure works comply with the Project Quality & Safety Plan, contract requirements, drawings and specifications.
• Supervise and monitor projects to meet company procedures, quality standards & contractual specs.
• Ensure supervisors & foremen meet clients’ regulatory work requirements.
• Interpret engineering documents and drawings for field personnel.
• Ensure environmental, safety and health practices are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superior or Head of Department.

· Perform other duties / tasks as assigned by immediate superior or Head of department.
