Job summary

DMJC CONSTRUCTION&ENGINEERING(S) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with 3–4 years of field experience to join our on-site team.

You will assist the project manager, review plans, and help manage technical issues across the project lifecycle. You will coordinate site activities, conduct inspections, and liaise with stakeholders while developing procedures and ensuring drawings and specifications meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Projects and AutoCAD/Revit.
• Excellent ability to read and interpret construction plans/drawings.
• Experience on private or public residential projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager with on-site and off-site meetings on technical issues.
• Submit architectural samples, shop drawings, and related documents to consultants/authorities.
• Coordinate and monitor site progress, conduct inspections and attend project meetings.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop procedures, perform detailed engineering calculations, and prepare drawings/specifications.
• Plan monthly work schedules and set achievable productivity targets.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager with on and off-site meetings pertaining to technical issues.
• Responsible for submission of architectural samples, shop drawings, and other related documents to the consultants or authorities.
• Coordinate and monitor work progress at the site including periodic site inspections and attending meetings during the course of the project.
• Able to communicate well with internal and external stakeholders.
• Development of Procedures, detailed Engineering calculations, drawing, and specifications.
• Plan monthly work schedules and set productivity to be achieved.
• Verify technical specifications for adequacy.
• Identify and record any product quality problems and implement solutions for any issues faced.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or its equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Projects, Autodesk AutoCAD/Revit
• Excellent at reading and understanding construction plan and drawings
• Experience with private or public residential projects would be advantageous
• At least 3-4 years of working experience in a related field
