Job summary

CTCI SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. requires a Site Controls Lead Engineer to oversee subcontractor progress control, payment management, document control, and on-site coordination for construction projects in Singapore. The role is based at Woodlands North and is on a 36-month contract.

The incumbent will liaise with Site Engineers, Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors to ensure timely execution and resolve site issues, while ensuring compliance with Singapore regulations and project schedules.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelore2e2s in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience in site coordination and subcontractor management.
• Experience with progress tracking and payment claims.
• Familiar with project schedules and site documentation.
• Strong English; Chinese is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Serve as a Site Controls Lead Engineer, responsible for subcontractor progress control, payment management, document control and on-site subcontracting coordination for construction projects in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

1. Subcontractor Construction Progress Control
   Lead the monitoring and tracking of subcontractor progress against project schedules and milestones. Review progress updates and follow up on delays or outstanding works.
   
2. Subcontractor Progress Payment Management
   Review and verify subcontractor progress claims against actual site progress. Coordinate with relevant teams on payment verification and documentation.
   
3. Subcontractor Document Control
   Manage subcontractor submissions, records, correspondence and document tracking. Ensure project documents are properly maintained and updated.
   
4. On-Site Subcontracting Coordination
   Lead and support on-site subcontracting processes and coordination. Coordinate with subcontractors and project teams to ensure smooth execution of works.
   
5. Site & Project Coordination
   Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and subcontractors. Monitor outstanding site issues and support timely resolution.

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in construction site coordination, subcontractor management or project controls.
• Experience in subcontractor progress tracking and payment claims.
• Familiar with construction schedules, site documentation and subcontractor coordination.
• Good command of English; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Able to lead and coordinate subcontractors effectively in a site-based environment.
• Relevant qualifications and licenses must comply with applicable Singapore laws and regulatory requirements.
