Job summary

Seoulstart in Singapore seeks an experienced People Operations lead to own the day-to-day HR operations across the full employee lifecycle. You will ensure data integrity in HR systems, coordinate joiners/moves/exits, and manage monthly payroll end-to-end with vendors, Finance, and stakeholders.

The role requires hands-on payroll coordination, strong knowledge of CPF, contracts and leave, and the ability to drive process improvements in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years managing day-to-day HR operations for a Singapore employee population.
• Hands-on payroll coordination with in-house or outsourced providers in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment fundamentals, CPF, contracts and leave.
• Experience in fast-growing environments with evolving headcount and shifting priorities.
• Track record implementing process improvements and automation in People Operations.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance People Operations efficiency and employee experience.
• High attention to detail in recurring cycles and ad hoc requests.
• Proficiency with HRIS, payroll systems, Google Workspace, and learning new tools quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication to explain HR operations to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day people operations for the Singapore entity across the full employee lifecycle.
• Maintain data integrity in HR systems and process changes accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with managers for joiner, move, and exit experiences.
• Coordinate monthly Singapore payroll end-to-end with vendor, Finance, and stakeholders.
• Ensure CPF, tax, and other statutory pay components are correctly calculated and processed.
• Maintain HR governance with policies, templates, controls, and audit trails.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, and global People Ops on audits and compliance.
• Serve as daily People Ops contact for managers and employees on operational topics.
• Provide practical guidance balancing employee experience, compliance, and feasibility.
• Localise and deliver global and regional people programs for Singapore and SEA teams.
• Support Singapore People and Talent roadmap initiatives including benefits and automation projects.
• Partner with Workplace Experience to operationalise programs and events smoothly.
• Build SOPs, checklists, and controls for scalable Singapore HR operations as the company grows.
• Identify process issues and improve workflows with global People Ops and automation tools.
• Monitor data quality, payroll accuracy, and timelines using HRIS exports and basic reporting.
