Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in compliance, audit, or control within the asset management industry.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore, South East Asia and relevant US financial regulations for asset management.
• Ability to deploy technology tools (eg large language models) to derive process efficiency.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Proven experience partnering with business leaders to drive compliance and control risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Advise and keep business abreast of local and relevant US SEC regulatory changes and apply them to controls.
• Provide CCOR assessment of new products and initiatives.
• Support and coordinate with teams on compliance and controls initiatives to manage risk.
• Implement the firm’s ORM framework to assess operational risks and controls.
• Review surveillance escalations and lead CCOR in error resolutions and third-party due diligence.
• Manage regulatory interactions including licensing, inspections, and regulatory reports.
• Provide guidance on privacy, outsourcing, and information barriers.
• Participate in industry associations as required.
