Job summary

BDO Singapore Branch is seeking a Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of projects across process enhancement, product development, and automation. You will support the Commercial Banking Head and Chief Executive to ensure projects meet timeline and budget.

The role requires 5–7 years in project management or business analysis, solid Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills, and the ability to coordinate across Business Units and regulatory matters.

Job description

The Project Manager is responsible for managing projects for the BDO Singapore Branch. He/She will assist the Commercial Banking Head and Chief Executive in ensuring that change projects are delivered according to timeline and budget.

Duties and Responsibilities

Project Management

• Responsible for a portfolio of process enhancement, product development, or process automation projects
• Prepare a detailed project plan outlining key milestone, workstreams, and activities; manage project delivery according to this plan
• Track project progress and provide regular reports on status to the project team and key stakeholders.
• Manage and adjust for changes in project priority, scope, schedule, and budget.

Business Management Support

• Act as point person across all Business Units, especially in terms of business risk and control, operational matters, information dissemination, co‑ordination on general queries and escalation, regulatory and compliance matters, and other business initiatives
• Perform Risk Management and Control tasks (e.g. KRI monitoring, incident reporting, audit point closures, RM scorecard monitoring, etc.)
• Support Center Heads with various business Initiatives; represent Front Office in regular process enhancement and new product working groups

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree relevant to the job, preferably in Computer Science, or IT-related courses
• With at least 5-7 years of experience in Project Management and/or as a Business Analyst that can recommends appropriate efficient and effective structures
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, and Word
• Basic IT management and planning

Singaporean or Permanent Resident preferred.
