Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business, Actuarial Science or equivalent experience.
• Professional qualifications (e.g., GARP, PRM, FRM, or CII) preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years' experience in operational risk, audit, resilience within reinsurance/insurance.
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and regulatory expectations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to translate complex risks into practical business solutions and executive reporting.
• Proven ability to lead, influence, and guide cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of the Operational Risk Management framework, risk management strategy, and governance standards.
• Lead key operational risk management programs, including RCA, KRIs, and incident management.
• Improve control effectiveness through risk assessments, control testing, and remediation of issues.
• Strengthen business continuity and resilience through planning, testing, and continual improvement.
• Provide operational risk evaluations and assessments for transactional risk assessments.
• Partner with business leaders to identify emerging risks and mitigation strategies.
• Deliver risk insights and reporting to senior management and risk committees.
• Foster a strong risk culture through stakeholder engagement and guidance.
• Collaborate and develop local risk teams while driving process improvements.
