Job summary

ACCELIGHT TECHNOLOGIES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is building its next-generation silicon photonics team in Singapore, focusing on PIC design and process integration.

The role covers translating device and circuit requirements into layout-ready designs and coordinating with external foundries for tape-out. The successful candidate will work across PDK evaluation, PIC layout, and manufacturability improvements, partnering with engineering teams to deliver robust, production-ready photonic integrated

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of silicon photonic devices and PIC design fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience in silicon photonics chip design and/or layout.
• Familiarity with silicon photonics PDKs and EDA/design tools.
• Experience with tape-out and semiconductor fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• PDK evaluation and integration into ATI's design environment.
• PIC layout development and tape-out preparation.
• Foundry/process interface for custom device development and optimization.
• Improve manufacturability and robustness of photonic designs.

Skills

Good understanding of silicon photonic

PIC design fundamentals

Hands-on silicon photonics chip design

EDA/design tools familiarity

Education

Master's degree or above in Photonics or related field
