Job summary

ACCELIGHT TECHNOLOGIES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Silicon Photonics Chip & System Architecture Engineer to define system-level architectures for next-generation high-speed interconnects, focusing on 800G, 1.6T and beyond.

Translate module and system requirements into chip architectures and define interfaces between PIC and surrounding electronics. Collaborate with PIC design, electronics, packaging, test and manufacturing to ensure performance, manufacturability and standards alignment,

Qualifications

• PhD in a related discipline (Optoelectronics/Photonics/Electrical Eng/Applied Physics).
• Strong PAM4 high-speed optical knowledge and link-budget analysis.
• Experience with silicon photonic PIC architectures.
• Familiarity with IEEE 802.3, OIF, OSFP, QSFP-DD MSAs.

Responsibilities

• Define system architectures for 800G/1.6T/3.2T silicon photonics.
• Translate requirements into chip-level specs and interfaces.
• Lead electrical/optical co-simulation and link performance.
• Collaborate with design, packaging, module and manufacturing teams.
