- Diploma holder in shipping, logistics management or business administration.
- 1–2 years of relevant working experience in the shipping/logistics/freight forwarding industry.
- Fresh graduates with strong interest in shipping and logistics are welcome to apply.
- Proficient in MS Excel (Vlookup and Pivot Table).
- Basic concept and understanding of shipping.
Responsibilities
- Monitor vessel profile and drive cargo mix to maximise profitability.
- Proactively recommend trade strategy including pricing adjustments and booking releases.
- Monitor origins' ability to achieve allocated volumes and resolve issues.
- Negotiate pricing and volume commitments; drive delivery of volume commitments.
- Keep up to speed with market rate adjustments and market capacity changes.
- Deal with space allocations and ad-hoc pricing requests.
- Engage with origin and HO teams to finetune allocations as needed.
