Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Logistics Support professional to coordinate export/import shipments and ensure accurate documentation. You will liaise with warehouses and freight forwarders to secure space and timely delivery, while controlling costs.

Ideal candidates have relevant shipping experience and understanding of customs procedures. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6pm, with location near Woodlands Link MRT.

Qualifications

• Relevant working experience in logistics or shipping.
• Experience with import/export regulations and customs procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage shipment documents (invoice, packing list, bill of lading) for customs clearance.
• Coordinate with warehouse for export/import shipment prep (cargo pick up, shipping marks).
• Liaise with freight forwarder on cargo space and shipment arrangement.
• Resolve issues or discrepancies during the shipping process.
• Handle order modifications, cancellations, and returns or exchanges.
• Monitor shipment status and follow up.
• Advise and provide freight cost to sales department.
• Monitor shipping costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage shipment documents (e.g., invoice, packing list, bill of lading) to facilitate seamless customs clearance
• To co-ordinate with warehouse team for export/import shipment preparation (i.e. cargo pick up, shipping marks)
• Liaise with freight forwarder on cargo space and shipment arrangement
• Resolving any issue or discrepancies that may arise during the shipping process
• Handle order modifications, cancellations, and requests for returns or exchanges
• Monitor and follow up on shipment status
• Advise and provide freight cost to sales department
