Job summary

BW EPIC KOSAN MARITIME PTE. LTD. seeks a seasoned Chief Engineer to manage daily technical and operational matters across our fleet in line with policies and international regulations.

You will ensure safety, environmental responsibility, cost-efficient vessel management, and timely statutory surveys, while maintaining high service delivery standards and overseeing annual budgets and cost control.

Qualifications

• Holding Chief Engineers Certificate of Competency.
• Experience on LPG/ethylene/ethane vessels with MAN B&W ME engines as Chief Engineer or 1st Assistant Engineer.
• No shore experience required.
• Willingness to travel at short notice and manage a 24/12 on-call lifestyle.
• Ability to develop and implement safe, cost-effective vessel management processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily technical & operations matters of our fleet per policies and regulations.
• Implement and maintain a safe, environmentally friendly, cost-effective standard.
• Oversee technical, operational and docking matters; ensure statutory certifications and surveys.
• Establish consistent, professional service delivery standards at all times.
• Maintain stringent cost control of operating budgets and annual vessel budgets.
