Job summary

Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement is seeking a Fleet Manager in Singapore to lead a high-performing team and ensure safe, efficient, and commercially viable fleet operations in line with international standards. You will manage client relationships, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with regulations and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nautical Science, Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture.
• Chief Engineer or Master Mariner qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years as Technical, Marine, or LPSQ Superintendent on relevant vessels, or 5 years in ship management/owning operations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and propose improvements across BSM services.
• Promote group initiatives to fleet teams and participate in seminars.
• Support usage and compliance of company software systems and IT platforms.
• Ensure vessel maintenance and spare parts strategies are communicated within the fleet team.
• Monitor fleet performance data and prepare statistics for reporting.
