Job summary

Bourbon in Singapore is looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to ensure the technical availability of vessels and compliance with maritime regulations. Your role will involve managing maintenance processes and budgets while leading the Chief Engineers on the fleet.

Candidates must possess a Chief Engineer certificate or maritime equivalent, along with thorough knowledge of ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, and STCW standards. The position offers a dynamic work environment in the maritime services sector.

Qualifications

• Chief Engineer certificate or maritime equivalent - cOc 1, 2.
• Thorough knowledge of ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC, STCW standards.
• Proficiency in CMMS tools and Bourbon maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the technical availability of vessels in line with the approved budget.
• Support and improve fleet HSE culture.
• Ensure continuous compliance of vessels with regulations.
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance processes.
• Monitor and maintain maintenance OPEX budgets.
• Ensure hierarchical management of Chief Engineers on the fleet.

Skills

Thorough knowledge of ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC, STCW standards

Proficiency in CMMS tools and Bourbon maintenance procedures

Ability to analyze, investigate and lead technical projects

Leadership, priority management, attention to detail and pedagogical skills

Fluent in written and spoken English
