Job summary

Innergy Consulting Pte. is seeking a seasoned Fleet Manager to lead a team of Technical Superintendents responsible for the technical management of an assigned fleet of vessels in a confidential search.

The role emphasizes safe operations, regulatory compliance, crew oversight, and cost control. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in technical leadership, develops policies in line with industry best practices, and communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders,

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of working experience as a fleet manager handling LPG/Chemical Tankers.
• Proven track record in leading a technical team and managing the fleet.
• Strong regulatory knowledge and up-to-date with industry technological advancements.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Technical Superintendents to oversee all aspects of the technical management of the vessels including safe operations, safety, compliance, crew management, maintenance and cost control.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and adoption of industry best practices.
• Oversee budget preparation and cost control for the fleet.
• Set up, review and monitor KPIs for the Technical team and vessel performance.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with crew, shore staff and stakeholders for effective communication.
• Manage risk associated with vessel operations and maintenance.
• Monitor vessel performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Provide strong leadership and guidance to the technical management team.
• Maintain strong relationships with shipowners, providing regular updates, performance reports and technical insights.
