Job summary

Triton AI Pte Ltd is recruiting for a permanent, full-time maintenance role on Jurong Island. The position involves repairing and maintaining site assets, planning routine tasks, and ensuring safe, compliant operations with a small team. Company transport is provided from designated pick-up points.

Applicants should have a Higher Nitec in Engineering and relevant maintenance experience, with Boiler Attendant Class 1 certification as mandatory and additional safety certs preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain site assets and identify materials needed to address faults.
• Improve equipment availability and minimise downtime with routine tasks.
• Communicate with internal customers and attend risk assessments and reviews.
• Work independently or in small teams; mentor less experienced staff.
• Plan daily maintenance and small project tasks safely.
• Conduct job risk assessments and ensure site health and safety compliance.
• Maintain workshop housekeeping and report status for SAP/work orders.
• Close reports or SAP work orders as assigned by supervisors.

Job description

• Remuneration: Salary range of $3,500 to $5,000 ,commensurate with experience

• Shift Allowance: Monthly fixed allowances of up to $1,000 for eligible shift-based appointments

• Employment Type: Permanent, full-time

• Location: Jurong Island, company transport provided from designated pick-up points

Key Reponsibilities:

• Utilize technical skills to repair and maintain site assets, identifying materials and equipment required to address faults and breakdowns.

• Provide plant and process problem-solving skills to optimise equipment availability and minimise production downtime, seeking further advice and investigation where required. Perform routine tasks with infrequent supervision.

• Communicate effectively with internal customers to ensure safe and timely work implementation. Attend site meetings, risk assessment studies and reviews as required, and use computer systems for planned and reactive maintenance.

• Work independently and as part of a small team, with no line management responsibilities. Coach and advise less experienced employees and contractors where required.

• Plan daily maintenance and small project tasks in a safe, healthy and environmentally acceptable manner.

• Identify risks and conduct job risk assessments, especially in high-hazard areas, ensuring compliance with legislation and site standards. Be accountable for personal health and safety and that of others affected by their actions.

• Maintain a high level of housekeeping in workshops and the workplace.

• Generate and manage repair and inspection reports.

• Maintain plant operability through inspection and troubleshooting.

• Close reports and/or SAP work orders as assigned by the Supervisor, Engineer or Manager.

Requirements

• Perform breakdown and preventive maintenance, coordinate contractors and vendors, issue Permit-to-Work (PTW), perform Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), and support project activities as required. Closing of report and/ or SAP work orders as assigned.

• Minimum Higher Nitec in Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant maintenance experience.

• Technical Certifications: Mandatory Boiler Attendant Class 1 Certificate; Forklift Operation License, Working at Height (WAH), Risk Assessment (RA), and Permit-to-Work (PTW) certifications preferred.

• Advantageous if from Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, or related process industries.
