Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician (E&I) for non-shift work at Tuas. You will repair, calibrate and maintain plant instruments and control systems, and troubleshoot faults while supporting mechanical and electrical teams.

The role requires a Nitec or equivalent with 3–5 years of industrial experience, teamwork, and strong troubleshooting and equipment-overhaul skills, including conveyors, rotating equipment and pneumatic actuators.

Qualifications

• Min. Nitec certificate or equivalent and at least 3-5 years of industrial experience
• Work as a team and communicate with all plant personnel
• Able to troubleshoot
• Knowledge and able to overhaul plant equipment - Furnace steel conveyor belts, All type of rotating equipment, Pneumatic valve actuators and sensors

Responsibilities

• Repair, calibrate, and maintain plant instruments & control systems
• Perform routine maintenance on sensors, transmitters, valves & pneumatic systems
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and recurring faults
• Provide technical support to mechanical & electrical teams
• Follow company policies, HSE and ISO systems
• Identify, report and prevent workplace hazards
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards
• Participate in safety meetings and safety improvements
• Carry out maintenance with safety as a priority
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor
