Job summary

LINK2 MANPOWER PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of production machinery and plant facilities in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires hands-on repair, troubleshooting and servicing of equipment, with a 1-year contract and monthly salary in SGD. Overtime may be required; two-way company transport is provided; TPM experience is valued and scheduled preventive maintenance is performed.

Qualifications

• NITEC/NTC certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience in machinery repair and maintenance in manufacturing.
• Experience in troubleshooting and servicing production machinery.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance activities; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production machinery, equipment and plant facilities.
• Troubleshoot, repair and service production machinery and equipment.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and TPM.
• Maintain maintenance work orders and downtime records.
• Operate and start up production and facilities machinery daily.
• Fabricate jigs and fixtures to support processes.
• Attend to minor repair requests from other departments.
• Support upkeep of facilities services: HVAC, sprinklers, plumbing, lighting.
• Conduct weekly training for production operators.

Salary: S$2,800 – S$3,200 per month

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 7:40 AM – 5:00 PM

Overtime: Expected when required, subject to applicable overtime limits

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance of production machinery, equipment and plant facilities within a manufacturing environment.

Candidates should have prior hands-on experience in repairing, troubleshooting and servicing production machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain production machinery, equipment and plant facilities.
• Perform troubleshooting, repair and servicing of production machinery and equipment.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
• Maintain preventive maintenance programmes for production equipment and plant facilities.
• Perform daily start-up of production and facilities machinery.
• Fabricate jigs and fixtures to support manufacturing processes.
• Attend to minor repair requests from other departments.
• Maintain and update maintenance work orders, TPM downtime records, compressor operating hours, hot work permits and equipment checklists.
• Support the upkeep of facilities services, including air-conditioning, sprinkler protection systems, plumbing, power and lighting.
• Conduct weekly Single Point Training for production operators.

Requirements

• NITEC / NTC certification, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant hands-on experience in machinery and equipment repair and maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in troubleshooting and servicing production machinery and equipment.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance activities.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to work overtime when required based on operational needs.
