Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a permanent role in the Environmental Services sector, based at Tuas with transport provided.

The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment, with 5.5 working days and a shift pattern that will move to 12-hour rotations after training. Candidate should have at least NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical and 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• At least NITEC or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, process plant or industrial environment.
• Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment to ensure smooth and reliable operations.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment to minimise downtime.
• Perform servicing, overhaul, and maintenance of pumps, motors, blowers, fans and other plant machinery.
• Install and commission new equipment while ensuring proper operational performance.
• Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports and daily work logs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and company standards.

Job description

Our esteemed client in the Environmental Services industry is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Mechanical Maintenance Technician
• Location: Tuas (Transport provided)
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri, 8am to 5pm; Sat, 8am to 12pm) - Will change to 12 hours rotating shift after 3 months
• Salary Package: Up to $2,700 + OT + Shift Allowances + Transport Allowance

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment to ensure smooth and reliable operations.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment to minimise downtime.
