Job summary

Cortex Consultants in India is seeking a ServiceNow Consultant specializing in CMDB and Discovery to manage the CMDB across IT assets and services. You will apply best practices to ensure data integrity, reliability, and compliance while enabling proactive IT operations.

You will design, implement, and maintain the CMDB, configure the Discovery tool, audit data quality, document relationships, and collaborate with stakeholders to align CMDB with ITSM processes and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' ServiceNow experience.
• Proven CMDB and Discovery management experience.
• Strong ITIL knowledge and service management expertise.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• ServiceNow certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB.
• Configure and manage the Discovery tool.
• Audit CMDB for data quality.
• Define relationships between configuration items.
• Provide CMDB and Discovery best practices.
• Troubleshoot CMDB data accuracy issues.
• Create technical and process documentation.
• Collaborate with IT teams on CMDB needs.
• Integrate CMDB with other ITSM processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation in Discovery.
• Analyze CMDB data to generate reports.
• Stay updated on ServiceNow enhancements.
