Job summary

ZETTAVOLT Singapore Services Pte. Ltd. is seeking a field service technician to provide pre-sales and/or post-sales technical support to customers, including commissioning, installing, testing and maintaining products, equipment and systems.

You will troubleshoot reports of technical problems during start-up and with motor control centers, VFDs, switchgear, AC/DC motors and transformers. Inspect malfunctioning or damaged products and propose repairs or replacements as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales and/or post-sales technical support to customers including commissioning, installing, testing and maintaining products, equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve customer reports of technical problems that arise during start up and those related to motor control centers, variable speed drives (AC & DC), switch gear, AC/DC motors and transformers.
• Inspect malfunctioning or damaged product to determine nature and scope of problem to recommend repair, replacement or any of other corrective action.
• Assist engineering department, shipyard employees and ship’s crew.
• Conducts training sessions as required.
• Prepare and timely submit complete and accurate fieldservice and other technical reports.
• Perform in-house support work.
• Other task assigned by managers.
