Job summary

STYL Solutions in Singapore is seeking an experienced Service Technician/Engineer to join our Operations team and keep our hardware and IoT products performing at peak.

You will install and set up products onsite locally and overseas, coordinate with customers, flash firmware, service units, and maintain detailed service records; travel and after-hours support are required.

Qualifications

• Min. NITEC/ Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or relevant.
• Experience in handling and servicing POS terminals and IoT devices.
• Min. 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.
• Possess Class 3 driving license with at least 1 year driving experience.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin/Malay or local dialect is an advantage for liaising with vendors.
• Able to travel outside of Singapore independently and on ad-hoc basis.
• Able to work after-hours and/or weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, refurbishing and maintenance of all products, including liaising with customers on warranty.
• Ensuring warranty sets are available for replacement and repairing units.
• Maintain accurate Service Records for all onsite visits and repairs.
• Provide real-time JIRA updates to track ticket status and resolutions.
• Maintain company service vehicle in clean, fueled and serviced condition.

STYL is looking for an experienced and self-driven Service Technician/Engineer to join our Operations team in maintaining and keeping our products working at its best performance.

Responsibilities

• Installation and set-up of all products onsite both locally and overseas.

• Arranging delivery and installation with customers.

• Preparing products (e.g. flashing of firmware) and tools before delivery/installation.

• Servicing, refurbishing and maintenance of all products, including:
  + Liaising and scheduling with customers after checking on warranty validity.
  + Ensuring the availability of warranty set for replacement.
  + Repairing, troubleshooting units that break down.

• Maintain accurate Service Records for all onsite visits and repairs.

• Provide real-time JIRA updates to track ticket status and technical resolutions.

• Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the company service vehicle, ensuring it is clean, fueled, and serviced regularly for safe operations.

Qualifications

• Min. NITEC/ Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or relevant.

• Experience in handling and servicing POS terminals and IoT devices.

• Min. 1 years of experience in a similar role preferred.

• Possess Class 3 driving license with at least 1 year driving experience.

• Familiar with computer hardware, basic troubleshooting and with mobile tools and applications.

• Able to test, repair and service technical equipment.

• Possess good computer skills including internet navigation, word processing and spreadsheets.

• Ability to work under pressure.

• Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.

• Able to work at heights and carry ladder/tools/parts to work site.

• Able to work after-hours and/or weekends to support facility event schedules on short notice and/or on-call services.

• Able to travel outside of Singapore independently and on an ad-hoc basis.

• Responsible and positive learning attitude.

• Fluent in English, written and verbal is a must; proficiency in Mandarin, Malay or local dialect is a strong advantage for liaising with relevant stall owners and merchants.

Working Hours/ Day

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

• Lunch break: 1 hour
