Job summary

Sterra.sg is seeking a skilled service technician to install water purifiers at customer homes, ensuring correct placement, connections and testing for full functionality.

The role also covers hands-on repairs and maintenance of purifiers, air purifiers, dehumidifiers and massage chairs. You will diagnose issues, propose solutions and advise on optimal installation setups with proper plumbing considerations; willingness to work weekends/overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in water purifier/dispenser installation.
• Residential plumbing and electrical work experience.
• Residential drilling experience (granite/concrete preferred).
• Diverter installation experience preferred.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving license.
• Willing to work weekends, shifts and overtime.
• Positive work attitude and customer-oriented.
• Able to handle heavy equipment during daily installations.

Responsibilities

• Install water purifiers at customers' locations, ensuring proper placement, connections and testing.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on water purifiers/air purifiers/dehumidifiers/massage chairs to resolve issues.
• Diagnose problems via troubleshooting and identify root cause to implement solutions.
• Provide expert advice on installation setup and recommendations to customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform professional installations of water purifiers at customers' locations, ensuring proper placement, connection, and functionality of the equipment.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance services on existing water purifiers/air purifiers/dehumidifiers/massage chairs to resolve any issues and ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and identify problems through comprehensive troubleshooting techniques. Determine the root cause of malfunctions and implement appropriate solutions to resolve issues.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations to customers regarding the installation setup of water purifiers.
• Offer valuable insights on suitable locations, plumbing requirements, and other considerations to ensure efficient and effective equipment operation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in water purifier/dispenser installation is a MUST
• Extensive plumbing and electrical work experience
• Residential drilling experience (including granite and concrete preferred)
• Residential plumbing experience (with diverter installation experience preferred)
• Must have a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license
• Able to work on weekends/shifts/overtime
• Positive work attitude and customer-oriented
• Candidates are required to handle heavy equipment and carry out daily installations
