Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking an on-site Field Service Engineer to install, calibrate and repair measurement equipment at customer facilities in Singapore. You will lead maintenance activities, ensure calibration standards are met, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues.

Candidates should have a relevant diploma/degree and be willing to travel, with a class 3 driving license. Attractive medical benefits and a global career path are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid class 3 driving license; vehicle preferred.
• Experience in servicing measurement instruments and equipment is a plus.
• Willing to travel and work overtime, including weekends/public holidays.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sets up standard and special purpose measurement equipment at customers' facilities.
• Disassembles instruments and inspects components for defects.
• Aligns, repairs, and replaces equipment parts and circuitry.
• Reassembles and calibrates instruments and equipment.
• Complies with calibration standards as required by the customer.
• Install the new equipment at customers' facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance on measurement instrument/equipment.
• Liaise with relevant departments on service-related matters.
• Communicate unresolved problems and customer feedback to factory.
• Provide guidance and support to team members for on-site activities.
• Adhere to company and customers’ site safety policy and requirements.

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

What You Need to Succeed

• Dynamic and hardworking
• A good diploma or degree in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A team player, meticulous and organized.
• Possesses a valid class 3 driving license and vehicle would be preferred.
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work overtime include Weekend and Public Holiday when necessary.
