Job summary

GAIA Culinary, a fine dining Chinese restaurant concept, is seeking a Service Executive to greet guests, escort them to their tables, take orders, and ensure an exceptional dining experience in a high-end setting.

You will manage reservations, coordinate with the kitchen, handle cashiering duties, uphold SOPs and hygiene standards, and work flexible hours including weekends; 1–3 years of relevant experience is preferred, and experience with preopening teams is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in fine dining.
• Preopening team experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverages.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and escort to tables, preparing spaces for service.
• Accurately take orders and coordinate with kitchen.
• Manage reservations and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Serve food and beverages promptly.
• Process payments and handle cashiering duties as needed.
• Maintain dining area cleanliness per SOP and food safety standards.
• Follow SOPs to support smooth operations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the menu to provide excellent service.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

A fine dining Chinese restaurant concept helmed by award-winning Chef. As the Service Executive, we rely on you to:

• Greet customers, escort them to their tables and prepare tables for service efficiently to create a positive dining experience
• Accurately take customer orders and collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure accurate order fulfillment
• Take reservations and respond promptly to customers inquires
• Serve food and beverages promptly
• Collect payment from customers and perform other cashiering duties if required
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and restaurant in line with SOPs and food hygiene/ safety regulations, such as adherence to SFA's standards
• Follow Operational SOPs consistently to support smooth restaurant operations
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of the restaurant menu and products to provide excellent service
• Any other duties as assigned

We are looking for someone who has:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferably in Fine Dining
• Prior experience working in a preopening team would be advantageous
• Possess strong knowledge in food (relevant cuisine) and beverage
• Comfortable with flexible work hours including shifts, split shifts, weekends, and public
