Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a field-based Chiller Technician in Singapore to perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and commissioning of chiller systems, ensuring reliability and efficiency on client sites.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and control issues, educate clients on operation and safety, prepare detailed service reports, travel to sites, respond to breakdown calls during standby shifts and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or any relevant qualification.
• Prior chiller/HVAC maintenance experience.
• Must know how to troubleshoot all mechanical and electrical issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of chiller systems.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries about chiller operations.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement effective solutions.
• Educate clients on operation and maintenance to extend system lifespan.
• Prepare detailed reports outlining service activities, findings and recommendations.
• Execute commissioning processes for new chiller installations and ensure proper operation.
• Collaborate with MHI agent, customers and contractors to verify system performance.
• Work with contractors to share knowledge and improve service delivery.
• Adhere to safety protocols and conduct safety briefings.

• Foster a collaborative working relationship with contractors, encouraging teamwork and shared problem-solving.
• Work closely with the contractor to share knowledge, improve processes, and enhance overall service delivery.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing service tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure all parties understand their responsibilities regarding safety.
• May involve working in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings.
• Field-based role with travel to client sites.
• Available to respond to chiller breakdown calls during assigned standby shifts.
