Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a field-based Chiller Technician to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of chiller systems at client sites across Singapore. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal performance.

You will educate clients on proper operation and maintenance practices, prepare detailed service reports, and assist with commissioning of new installations.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant qualification.
• Prior chiller/HVAC maintenance experience.
• Must know how to troubleshoot all mechanical and electrical issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of chiller systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding chiller operations and maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement effective solutions.
• Educate clients on proper operation and maintenance practices to extend the lifespan of their chiller systems.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports outlining service activities, findings, and recommendations for future improvements.
• Execute commissioning processes for new chiller installations, ensuring systems are installed correctly and functioning as designed.
• Collaborate with MHI agent, customer and contractors to verify system performance and compliance with specifications.
• Foster a collaborative working relationship with contractors, encouraging teamwork and shared problem-solving.
• Work closely with the contractor to share knowledge, improve processes, and enhance overall service delivery.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing service tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure all parties understand their responsibilities regarding safety.
• May involve working in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings.
• Field-based role with travel to client sites.
• Available to respond to chiller breakdown calls during assigned standby shifts.
