Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd is hiring a Service Technician (Chiller / HVAC) to service, troubleshoot and maintain chillers and HVAC systems for clients across Singapore.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, assist with start-up and commissioning, diagnose faults, and attend customer sites islandwide. Travel, coordination with customers, vendors and contractors, and strict adherence to safety standards are required.

Qualifications

• NITEC or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with chillers, HVAC, ACMV or air-conditioning systems.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of chiller systems.
• Experience with Trane chillers is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel islandwide and coordinate with customers/vendors.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, troubleshooting and maintenance of chillers and HVAC equipment.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective repair works.
• Support chiller overhaul, start-up and commissioning activities.
• Diagnose equipment faults and carry out appropriate rectification works.
• Attend customer sites and respond to equipment servicing or technical issues.
• Liaise with customers regarding service issues and complaint cases.
• Coordinate service activities with vendors and contractors.
• Assist with maintenance schedules and service planning.
• Prepare technical findings and analysis reports for management review.
• Ensure all service and maintenance works comply with required quality and EHS standards.
• Perform other technical service duties when required.

• Position : Service Technician (Chiller / HVAC)
• Working hours : Monday to Friday | 8.30am to 5.30pm
• Location: Office in Boon Lay-Islandwide
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $5000 Basic + Minimum 2 months Variable Bonus (max up to 5 MONTHS BONUS) + 16 days Annual Leaves + Medical Benefits + Overtime

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Relevant hands-on experience in chillers, HVAC, ACMV or air-conditioning systems.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of chiller systems.
• Basic exposure to chiller overhaul and start-up work will be advantageous.
• Experience with Trane chillers will be advantageous.
• Able to troubleshoot equipment faults and carry out service work at customer sites.
• Comfortable travelling to customer sites islandwide.
• Able to coordinate effectively with customers, vendors and contractors.
• Good safety awareness and able to follow EHS requirements.
