Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a field service technician specialising in power protection equipment to install, commission, maintain and support customers on-site regionally.

You will perform preventive maintenance, provide technical advice, and train customers on equipment features, with opportunities to travel locally and overseas. Strong problem-solving and customer-oriented approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Education in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• 1 year experience servicing and ability to troubleshoot down to component level.
• Knowledge in UPS or Standby Generators is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently with good initiative and foster customer relationships.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with excellent customer orientation.
• Willing to work overtime and travel on short notice.
• Class 3 license.
• Domestic & Overseas training programs provided.
• Knowledge of general computer hardware and software will be an added advantage.

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure that the systems are working efficiently and safely.

• Provide technical advice and customer service solutions, and to train customers on the features of the equipment

Job Requirements

• Tertiary Education in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

• Preferably 1 year’s experience in servicing and ability to troubleshoot down to component level

• Knowledge in Uninterruptible Power Supplies or Standby Generators is highly preferred.

• Ability to work independently and resourceful with good initiatives and foster customer relationship

• Good interpersonal and communication skills with excellent customer orientation

• Willing to work overtime and travel in short notice

• Class 3 license
