Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a Service Engineer to commission new products, service and troubleshoot installed systems, and train customers and distributors. You will work with project teams on site, perform preventive maintenance, and diagnose faults across HV/LV systems.
Candidate should have 2–3 years in power/industrial settings, read schematics, and operate diagnostic tools. Safety certifications and a willingness to work shifts may be required.
The Service Engineer is responsible for the commissioning of new products, servicing & troubleshooting of installed products and customer and distributor training.
Collaborate work with project teams of Installation & commissioning on site.
Perform preventive maintenance activities, cycle parts replacement to minimize downtime.
Diagnose and resolve technical faults in transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and control systems.
Document maintenance activities, incidents, and repairs.
Comply with safety protocols (e.g., Singapore Workplace Safety and Health Act).
Respond promptly to emergencies and power outages.
Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.
Education: NITEC in Electrical/electronic Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field.
Experience: 2–3 years in uninterrupted power system or a related industrial setting.
Proficiency in reading schematics, using diagnostic tools (Multimeters, Current Clamp), and working with HV/LV systems.
WSQ-Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health in Construction/Process plant/Shipyard preferred.
Comfortable working in construction, Electrical room, and lifting up to 20kg.
Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication abilities.
Willingness to work shifts and weekends as needed.
Class 3 driving license preferred.
