Job summary

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification with a Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Building Services or Building Automation.
• Knowledge or experience in BAS/BMS, HVAC controls, or smart building tech; fresh graduates welcomed.
• Strong understanding of HVAC and building systems and related control strategies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver service excellence for BAS/BMS maintenance including preventive, corrective and predictive work.
• Troubleshoot alarms, trends and data to improve system performance and efficiency.
• Support commissioning and modernization projects with testing, migrations and upgrades.
• Perform controller programming changes, parameter adjustments and remote/on-site troubleshooting.
• Build trusted customer relationships and coordinate with managers, consultants and project teams.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records and ensure safety and quality compliance.

You'll make a difference by:

• Delivering service excellence for building automation systems by performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities on Building Automation Systems (BAS), Building Management Systems (BMS), controllers, sensors, actuators, variable speed drives (VSDs), and associated field devices.
• Troubleshooting and optimizing system performance by analyzing alarms, trends, system data, and control sequences to identify faults, improve operational efficiency, and enhance building performance.
• Supporting commissioning and modernization projects through installation support, point-to-point verification, functional testing, integrated system testing, system migrations, upgrades, and lifecycle replacement initiatives.
• Providing technical expertise and system support by performing controller programming changes, parameter adjustments, software updates, network diagnostics, and remote or onsite technical troubleshooting.
• Building trusted customer relationships by delivering professional service, providing technical consultation, coordinating with facility managers, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams, and ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Maintaining compliance and documentation standards by preparing service reports, maintenance records, defect reports, asset documentation, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations, industry standards, and Siemens quality requirements.

Your defining qualities:

• Relevant engineering qualification with a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Building Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge or experience in building automation technologies, with experience in BAS, BMS, HVAC Controls, Industrial Automation, or Smart Building technologies considered advantageous; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong understanding of HVAC and building systems including Chiller Plant Controls, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems, Energy Management Systems, and building operational processes.
• Familiarity with industry communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP networking, and KNX (advantageous) used within integrated building and automation environments.
• Technical troubleshooting capability with the ability to interpret electrical schematics, control drawings, instrumentation diagrams, control logic, and low‑voltage control systems.
• Customer‑focused and collaborative mindset with strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills, coupled with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
