Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automation and control systems for Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC, and industrial applications.
- Develop and modify DDC and PLC programs, control sequences, and automation logic.
- Configure, commission, and troubleshoot PLC, DDC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
- Perform system integration with HVAC equipment, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, cooling towers, and other building services.
- Conduct site commissioning, functional testing, and system validation.
- Analyze customer requirements and develop customized control strategies.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, communication, and control system issues.
- Prepare engineering documentation, I/O lists, control narratives, functional specifications, and technical reports.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical support and training to customers when required.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor\'s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in automation or building management systems.
- Hands-on experience in DDC/PLC programming and control logic development.
- Experience in commissioning and troubleshooting automation systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical control panels, sensors, actuators, and field devices.
- Familiar with industrial communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, KNX, LonWorks, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, or similar.
- Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Willing to travel to project sites when required.
