Job summary

KELE & ASSOCIATES PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an Application Engineer to design HVAC controls and BMS solutions, review customer specs, and select sensors, controllers, actuators and field devices for diverse projects.

You will prepare control schematics, wiring diagrams, and system architecture, program DDC/PLC logic and HMI, and ensure compliance with local standards. Fresh graduates may be considered; 2–5 years' building automation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
• 2–5 years in Building Management System, HVAC Controls, or industrial automation.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

Application Engineering

• Review customer specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
• Design HVAC Controls and BMS solutions based on project needs.
• Select appropriate sensors, controllers, actuators, valves, and field devices.
• Prepare control schematics, wiring diagrams, and system architecture.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and industry standards.
• Programming of DDC/PLC logic and HMI configuration.
• Configuration of DDC/PLC network system.

Technical Documentation

Prepare:

1. Technical submissions
2. Controls drawings
3. Sequence of operation documents
4. Functional design specifications.
5. Testing & Commissioning (T&C) scripts/method statements.
6. Bill of Material (BOM).
7. Operation & Maintenance Manual (OMM).
8. Maintain engineering/changes documentation and standard design templates.

Site Coordination and Testing & Commissioning

• Work closely with project team to ensure DDC/PLC/SCADA project from concept to design and programming.
• Lead and participate actively during T&C.
• Perform troubleshooting and ensure project are final over successfully.

Product Management Support

• Support new product introduction and evaluation.
• Assist in developing product application guides and technical manual.
• Conduct internal technical training for sales, project and engineering teams.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in:

1. Electrical & Electronics Engineering
2. Mechanical Engineering
3. Computer Science and other Engineering

Experiences

2-5 years of experience in:

1. Building Management System (BMS)
2. HVAC Controls
3. Instrumentation
4. Industrial Automation
5. Smart Building Technologies

Fresh graduates with relevant internship experiences may also be considered.
