Job summary

SECOM (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a field technician to attend to faults reported by customers and coordinate with clients and sub-contractors for rectification and add-on projects.

You will ensure resource readiness for site installation or fault rectification, monitor progress to meet schedules and quality standards, and maintain a strong emphasis on safety in daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Attend to and rectify fault(s) reported by our customer on a timely basis.
• Liaise with customers and sub-contractors regarding all aspects of the rectification and add-on project activities.
• Ensure all resources including manpower, materials and equipment are available as per schedule for site installation or rectification of faults.
• Monitoring the progress of work closely to ensure that the schedule and quality of work are met.
• Overall safety performance when executing daily work.
• Communicate effectively with team members including arrange for covering duty when necessary.
• Familiarize with all major sites' configuration and common faults for swift rectification.
• For major and unresolved faults, to work closely with Manager to identify root cause and formulate corrective actions including and not limited to collecting data and detail from site for analysis.
• Work with Manager to conduct detail analysis of complaint including identification of root cause, corrective and preventive action and create accurate incident report if required.
• Carry out periodic maintenance for customers if required.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
