Job summary

ANOTHER BAR PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on bar supervisor to lead a team in a fast-paced setting. Your role includes overseeing stock, ensuring quality, and coaching staff to uphold brand standards.

You will handle guest concerns, train new team members, and support purchasing and inventory. The position also involves customer service duties, including taking orders and handling payments, with opportunities for growth and participation in outlet expansion.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a team-oriented personality with strong people management skills
• Oversee the organization of bar stock & ingredients; verify all food products are dated and organized for quality assurance
• Ensure all food and drink preparation and presentation by the team follows recipes and SOPs, and aligns with brand standards
• Respond to and handle guest problems and complaints
• Train new floor employees to restaurant standards; coach and mentor and support personal development
• Ensure proper purchasing and receiving bar supplies
• Maintain grooming and hygiene standards for all floor staff
• Ensure bar equipment is well maintained; report issues to management
• Assist the company in expansion plans
• Take customer orders, prepare drinks, serve food and drinks, cashier and housekeeping

Job description

Responsibilities included:

1. Maintain a team-oriented personality with strong people management skills;
2. Oversee the organization of bar stock & ingredients; verifying all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance;
3. Ensure all food/drink preparation and presentation by the team closely follows recipes and SOP guidelines, and are delivered in accordance with the brand’s appearance/quality standards;
4. Actively respond to and handle guest problems and complaints;
5. Trains new floor employees to restaurant standards; capitalizing on informal opportunities to coach and mentor, taking interest in others’ personal development;
6. Ensure proper purchasing and receiving bar supplies.
7. Ensure proper grooming and hygiene standards for all floor staff;
8. Ensure all equipment in the bar is properly maintained and in working order in accordance with SFA standards. Promptly feedback to management team if any issues arise.
9. Assist the company in expansion plans.
10. Basic duties include taking customers' orders, preparing drinks, serving food and drinks, cashiering and housekeeping.
