Job summary

11 WESTSIDE ASIA SQUARE PTE. LTD. is seeking a customer service-focused restaurant team member to greet guests, assist with seating and menus, take orders, and ensure fast, friendly service.

You will contribute to smooth operations, work with kitchen and bar staff, manage payments and keep areas clean and welcoming. Training is provided for suitable candidates and the role requires flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive and professional service to all guests.
• Welcome and greet guests, assist with seating, and present menus.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter orders into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly according to service standards.
• Know the menu and promotions to offer recommendations.
• Assist with table setup, clearing, and restaurant prep.
• Keep dining areas clean, organized and presentable.
• Respond to guest requests and feedback professionally.
• Process bills and payments accurately when assigned.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar and service team for smooth operations.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and stock prep.
• Follow food hygiene, safety and procedures at all times.
• Support events and busy service periods when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive and professional service to all guests.
• Welcome and greet guests, assist with seating, and present menus.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter orders into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly according to restaurant service standards.
• Have a good understanding of the menu, ingredients and ongoing promotions to provide recommendations to guests.
• Assist with table setup, clearing, resetting and general restaurant preparation before and during service.
• Ensure the dining area, service stations and other guest areas are kept clean, organised and presentable.
• Respond to guest requests and feedback professionally and escal
• Process bills and payments accurately when assigned.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen, bar and other service team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, replenishment and stock preparation.
• Follow food hygiene, workplace safety and company operating procedures at all times.
• Support restaurant events, promotions and busy service periods when required.
• Perform other operational duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Supervisor.
