Job summary

Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH) is seeking a dedicated Bed Allocation Administrator to support bed management within JurongHealth Campus. You will allocate beds, monitor status across departments, and respond to inquiries while maintaining accurate census data.

Strong customer service, organizational, and computer skills are essential. Flexibility to work three rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, is required to ensure smooth hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital administration or frontline service is advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Perform bed allocation on systems, ensuring KPI adherence.
• Coordinate with departments and update bed availability status.
• Monitor and manage bed allocation processes and timely responses to requests.
• Handle inquiries and follow up on bed requests.
• Assist in hospital bed census preparation and related reporting.
• Perform ad hoc administrative duties within the department.

Job Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the following:

• To perform bed allocation on systems, complying to Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
• Work closely with different departments and update the status of bed availability
• To monitor and manage bed allocation
• Attend to enquiries and follow up on bed requests
• To assist in the preparation of hospital bed census and reporting when required
• Ad-hoc others admin duties in the department

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE N Levels with 1yearof working experience in customer service
• Computer literacy in internet, email and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with all levels of staff
• Willing to shift 3 rotating shift including working weekends and Public Holidays
