Job summary

Ebb & Flow Group invites passionate Servers to join the opening front-of-house team for a new modern Chinese dining concept at Dempsey Hill, Singapore. You will welcome guests, take orders, and ensure a memorable dining experience from arrival to departure.

The role emphasizes warm customer service, teamwork, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service standards. Prior hospitality experience is valued and pre-opening involvement is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in F&B, hospitality, or customer facing roles preferred but not essential.
• Friendly, guest-focused attitude and good communication skills.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Take orders accurately and relay to kitchen and bar teams.
• Serve food and beverages promptly following service standards.
• Attend to guests throughout dining and anticipate needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and setup of dining areas and stations.
• Handle enquiries and feedback, escalate when needed.
• Support opening/closing duties and station preparation.
• Collaborate with kitchen, bar and service team for smooth operations.

Server – New Modern Chinese Concept, Dempsey

Introduction

Ebb & Flow Group is a Singapore based F&B hospitality group operating a growing portfolio of distinctive dining concepts across Singapore. We pride ourselves on creating warm, attentive, and memorable guest experiences, with a strong focus on genuine hospitality, quality, and attention to detail.

We are preparing to launch an exciting new modern Chinese dining concept in Dempsey Hill in November 2026, and we are looking for passionate and personable Servers to join our founding front of house team.

As a Server, you will play an important role in creating memorable dining experiences from the moment guests arrive. If you enjoy connecting with people, take pride in providing attentive service, and thrive in a fast paced environment, we would love to have you join us on this exciting pre opening journey.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcome and engage guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while following the restaurant’s service standards and sequence.
• Attend to guests throughout their dining experience and anticipate their needs where possible.
• Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and proper setup of dining areas, tables, and service stations.
• Handle guest enquiries, requests, and feedback professionally, escalating matters to the management team where required.
• Support opening and closing duties, including table setup, clearing, and service station preparation.
• Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and wider service team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Assist with basic billing, payments, and POS processes when required.

We’re Looking for Someone Who

• Has previous experience in F&B, hospitality, or a customer facing role; this is preferred but not essential.
• Has a friendly, personable, and guest focused attitude.
• Is passionate about hospitality and enjoys creating positive experiences for guests.
• Is comfortable working in a fast paced environment and able to multitask during busy service periods.
• Possesses good communication skills and basic spoken English.
• Is a reliable and responsible team player with a positive attitude.
• Is willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Has pre opening experience or an interest in modern Chinese cuisine; this will be an advantage.
