Job summary

Dyson Singapore is seeking a Lead Electronics Engineer - Sensors to provide technical leadership in developing advanced sensing platforms for Air Quality sensing, LiDAR, Vision Systems and other sensors across Dyson products. You will translate requirements into architectures, drive algorithm development and collaborate across hardware, software and manufacturing teams.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong system-level thinking, and experience with Matlab or Python for data analysis,

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Robotics, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Typically 5+ years of experience in sensing system design, implementation, testing, analysis and characterisation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and delivery of sensing technology platforms (Air Quality sensing, LiDAR, Vision Systems, position and displacement sensors).
  • Translate product and system requirements into sensing architectures and validation approaches.
  • Define, develop and validate sensing algorithms with Matlab or Python; data collection and processing.
  • Collaborate with Hardware, Software, Mechanical, Test, Manufacturing, Product and Quality teams to integrate sensing systems.
  • Provide technical leadership from concept through production readiness and engage suppliers/partners.
