Job summary
Dyson Institute in Singapore seeks an experienced Software & System Quality Assurance Manager to drive quality, safety, cybersecurity, supplier quality, and regulatory compliance across Dyson's connected products.
You will provide independent quality oversight throughout the product development lifecycle, partnering with Engineering, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and external suppliers to ensure products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and security.
Qualifications
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or related field.
- Extensive experience in software quality, hardware electronics, or related disciplines.
- Experience with embedded systems, IoT, cloud platforms, or robotics.
- Strong SDLC, verification & validation, defect and risk management.
- Experience managing software suppliers and external development partners.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of product cybersecurity and secure development lifecycle.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and audits.
Responsibilities
- Lead QA activities across full product lifecycle.
- Establish quality processes, release readiness criteria and gates.
- Review development deliverables and release packages.
- Drive supplier quality management with external partners.
- Support product safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee cybersecurity practices with Product Security teams.
- Support manufacturing readiness and OTA software releases.
