Job summary

Dyson GmbH is seeking an experienced Lead Electronics Engineer – Sensors to provide technical leadership across Air Quality sensing, LiDAR and vision systems for Dyson products. You will define sensing architectures, validate algorithms and work with hardware, software, test and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Physics, Robotics, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in sensing system design, implementation, testing and characterization; Air Quality, LiDAR, Vision Systems or related tech preferred.
• Strong understanding of sensor physics, architectures, interfaces, calibration and product integration.
• Experience with data analysis and algorithm development using MATLAB and Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of sensing platforms (Air Quality, LiDAR, Vision) across Dyson products.
• Translate requirements into sensing architectures, data plans and validation approaches.
• Develop and validate sensing algorithms, including data collection, analysis and signal processing.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Software, Mechanical, Test, Manufacturing, Product and Quality teams for integration and production readiness.
• Provide technical leadership from proof of concept to production readiness.
• Engage suppliers/partners to evaluate sensing technologies and influence roadmaps.
