Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Singapore seeks a hands-on Wintel Engineer to join our infrastructure and workplace technology team. You will serve as SME for Workplace Management, supporting endpoint management, OS deployments, patching, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.

The role requires strong Windows expertise, experience with enterprise management tools, automation, and IaC practices. You will design and maintain OS image pipelines, manage software distribution and patch

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years of experience in Windows Infrastructure, Workplace Management, or Wintel environments.
Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, PowerShell, and Group Policy (GPO).
Experience with enterprise workplace management tools such as HCL BigFix, Microsoft SCCM/MECM, Citrix VDI, Nexthink, or similar platforms.
Solid knowledge of PC Imaging, Patch Management, Software Distribution, and Endpoint Management.
Experience designing and supporting AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure.
Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
Scripting experience in PowerShell, Python, or Shell/Bash.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with ability to work independently and manage stakeholders effectively.
Relevant AWS or Azure certifications would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Workplace & Endpoint Management: Install, configure, test, and maintain endpoint hardware and OS images.
Manage OS, software, drivers, upgrades, updates, and hotfixes.
Create and maintain corporate desktop/laptop images and OS deployment task sequences.
Administer Workplace Management solutions and related infrastructure services.
Provide backend infrastructure administration focused on PC imaging and endpoint management.
Troubleshoot escalations related to desktops, servers, and workplace tools.
Patch Management & Software Distribution: Plan and support enterprise patching and software deployment.
QA testing for endpoint-related changes and deployments; ensure standards compliance.
Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/Azure): Design, implement, and maintain cloud infra; ensure security, scalability, resilience.
Deploy and manage cloud services (EC2/VPC/S3/RDS/Lambda/IAM; Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Functions).
Collaborate with development teams to deploy cloud-native solutions; implement IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).
Troubleshoot cloud and connectivity issues; design backup and DR solutions.
Automation & Operational Excellence: Develop automations to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
Improve processes, maintain docs, and support ad hoc projects as required.
