Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Warehouse Assistant to coordinate daily warehouse operations, ensuring materials are received, stored, picked, packed and shipped safely and efficiently. The role supports inventory accuracy, documentation control, and compliance with GMP/GDP and 5S standards in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or material handling experience.
• Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Valid forklift license or certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipment.
• Coordinate material issuance, transfers, and replenishment to meet production requirements.
• Ensure materials are correctly identified, stored, and transacted per inventory controls and traceability.
• Prepare materials for internal transfer and outbound shipment with proper documentation.
• Perform system transactions and ensure warehouse documents are properly filed.
• Conduct stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and escalate as needed.
• Report stock discrepancies, damaged materials, or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Support deviation, safety, and quality investigations and corrective actions.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and assist with shift handover and prioritization.
• Maintain 5S, safety, and GMP/GDP compliance across warehouse areas.
