Job summary

Reeracoen Singapore Pte Ltd is recruiting a Deputy Department Manager to lead warehouse operations for a Japanese logistics group. You will oversee a 50-100 person operations team, plan space utilization, manage customer cargo scheduling, and drive continuous improvements with a hands-on leadership approach.

The role emphasizes P&L management, strong client relations, staff development, and readiness to mentor junior managers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in 3PL operations.
• Proven track record in warehouse operations management and space utilization planning.
• Experience leading managers and large-scale teams (50-100).
• Strong expertise in cost control, operational improvement, and P&L management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage overall warehouse operations and operational issues.
• Plan warehouse space utilization and supervise customer cargo scheduling.
• Develop and manage manpower allocation plans to support operational requirements.
• Drive operational efficiency through process improvements, technology, and innovation.
• Manage departmental P&L performance.
• Respond to customers' operational inquiries and requirements daily.
• Attend KPI review meetings and maintain client relationships.
• Mentor and support junior managers within the operations department.
