Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is recruiting for a senior Infrastructure Architect to design, deploy, and administer enterprise-scale virtual infrastructure in Singapore. You will optimize VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter, drive automation with PowerShell/PowerCLI and Python, and troubleshoot across compute, storage, and networking layers.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years IT experience, 3–5 years hands-on VMware virtualization, and exposure to OpenShift or container platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience.
• 3-5 years in VMware virtualization (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter).
• Strong automation scripting with PowerShell/PowerCLI and Python.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale virtual infrastructure environments.
• Knowledge of storage, networking, and infrastructure operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and administer enterprise-scale virtual infrastructure on VMware.

Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and administer enterprise-scale virtual infrastructure utilizing VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server to ensure system availability.

Develop and execute automation scripts using PowerShell/PowerCLI and Python to streamline infrastructure provisioning, compliance patching, and lifecycle operations.

Perform advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning across complex computing, storage, and networking layers.

Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives by integrating containerization platforms like Red Hat OpenShift and maintaining technical operations documentation.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of overall IT experience
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in VMware Virtualization (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
• Strong experience invirtualization administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Automation and scripting expertise using PowerShell and/or Python
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale virtual infrastructure environments
• Knowledge of storage,networking, and infrastructure operations

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to Red Hat OpenShift or container platforms
• Experience with infrastructure automation and modernization initiatives
