Job summary

CHAPTR CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to modernize IT infrastructure across global data centers and cloud.

You will design scalable systems, automate operations, and deliver tooling for deployment, monitoring, and management. The role requires 8–10 years in IT infrastructure with hands-on experience in virtualization, HCI, and automation, including Bash, Python, and PowerShell scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT/CS.
• 8–10 years in IT infrastructure, virtualization and HCI with strong automation.
• Proficient in Bash, Python and PowerShell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Nutanix, Linux, Windows Server, VMware, Veeam, NetApp, Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable infrastructure across data centers and cloud.
• Provide Windows Server escalation and Linux Server Level 1 support.

The company

A renowned brand within the financial services sector is expanding their technology team in Singapore. They are in search of a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join them in modernizing their IT Infrastructure

The role

• Design and maintain scalable infrastructure across global data centers and cloud.
• Provide Windows Server escalation and Linux Server Level 1 support.
• Implement Windows Server security, hardening and compliance standards.
• Drive automation to improve performance and reduce manual processes.
• Develop tools and scripts for deployment, monitoring and system management.
• Work with global stakeholders on infrastructure requirements and implementations.
• Identify and deliver automation opportunities across global teams.
• Ensure infrastructure security, availability, reliability and performance.
• Modernize data center operations through technology and process improvements.
• Manage and optimize servers, storage, virtualization and HCI environments.
• Ensure high availability through backups, monitoring, capacity planning and maintenance.

The requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, virtualization and HCI environments, with strong automation capabilities.
• Proficient in Bash, Python and PowerShell scripting.
• Strong hands-on experience with Nutanix, Linux, Windows Server, VMware, Veeam, NetApp, Docker and Kubernetes.
