Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a senior IT infrastructure specialist to design, deploy and manage enterprise-scale VMware environments. You will automate provisioning with PowerShell/Python, optimize performance, and contribute to OpenShift container modernization while documenting operations.

The role requires 10+ years of IT experience and 3-5 years of hands-on VMware virtualization, plus strong storage and networking knowledge to support large-scale infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of IT experience.
• 3–5 years hands-on VMware virtualization (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter).
• Strong virtualization administration, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Automation/scripting using PowerShell and/or Python.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale virtual infrastructure.
• Knowledge of storage, networking and infrastructure operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and administer enterprise-scale virtual infrastructure utilizing VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server to ensure system availability.
• Develop and execute automation scripts using PowerShell/PowerCLI and Python to streamline provisioning, patching, and lifecycle operations.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning across computing, storage, and networking layers.
• Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives by integrating containerization platforms like Red Hat OpenShift and maintaining ops docs.
