Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) in Singapore seeks a Senior/Executive Engineer (Video Analytics/AI) to lead design, development, deployment and maintenance of VA/AI solutions for traffic management. You will build system architectures, develop AI/ML models, annotate datasets, and manage deployments across on-prem and cloud environments.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and performance specs, driving safe and efficient road networks.

Qualifications

• Computer Science/Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or equivalent background.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently in a team.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, C#.
• Experience in MLOps and model lifecycle, deep learning frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience with media processing (ffmpeg, GStreamer); containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiar with VA/AI projects, especially in traffic or transportation fields.
• Familiar with VA/NLP/LLM implementations and cloud environments.
• Keen interest in traffic management and operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain VA/AI solutions for traffic management and operations.
• Prepare and annotate datasets; manage AI/ML model deployments across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Train, validate, fine-tune and maintain models for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on requirements, co-development and system integration.
