Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a senior validation engineer to lead end-to-end DRAM/NAND validation programs, driving hardware/software integration, verification campaigns, and on‑schedule deliveries across MBIST and native flows.

You will mentor juniors, advance automation, Verilog simulations, and data analytics to improve silicon quality and cycle times while collaborating with global teams and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DRAM/HBM/NAND validation or product engineering.
• HBM Validation experience required.
• Test platform code development in C/C++, Python, and APG (Algorithmic Pattern Generator).
• Strong MBIST (SM3/Cobra) or Native Mode (Advantest V93K) testing experience.
• Verilog simulation expertise with bench architecture, stimulus/checkers, and waveform analysis.
• Proven ability to execute ValRuns and high‑speed I/O validation with eye/IDD characterization.
• Advanced scripting and data analytics; Confluence/Jira and Git/Perforce experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end Validation Run execution in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment.
• Own time‑bound data crunching pipelines and deliver decision‑ready summaries and sightings by Cycle Time.
• Guarantee coverage across MBIST and Native flows; drive corners and timing coverage; ensure evidence‑backed closure.
• Develop and debug test programs on SM3/Cobra and Advantest V93K; enforce code quality and release discipline.
• Align hardware configs to test intent and throughput targets.
• Perform power/thermal characterization; correlate IDD/thermal data with performance and reliability.
• Architect and execute Verilog simulations to replicate platform sightings and validate hypotheses.
• Build automation dashboards for anomaly detection, trend analysis, and coverage auditing.
• Lead silicon debug with cross‑functional teams; drive corrective action with root cause evidence.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with global teams for material readiness and platform enablement.
