Qualifications

• 5+ years in UX research, service design, or product research with 0→1 discovery experience.
• Strong command of qualitative methods and comfort with quantitative inputs where relevant.
• A portfolio showing service design work alongside research deliverables.
• Confident workshop facilitation with mixed groups.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run mixed-method research across the discovery lifecycle, including interviews and usability testing.
• Map service journeys and touchpoints end-to-end, linking front-stage UX with back-end systems.
• Frame problem spaces and formulate research questions for early-stage products.
• Translate findings into design hypotheses and prioritised recommendations for product and design decisions.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and public officers as research participants and collaborators.
• Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
